Police are hunting thieves who stole purses and a handbag in two separate incidents in Sudbury .
A purse was taken from a pushchair as the owner browsed in a clothes shop in North Street, at 11.40am on Thursday.
Within five minutes a second purse was Porcelain Earrings stolen from a pushchair in a charity shop in North Street.
A police spokeswoman said two suspicious women of "Mediterranean appearance" were seen shortly before the purses were taken.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the women, who were around 5ft 4ins tall, with long black hair and wearing long black macs.
In a separate incident, a woman's handbag was stolen from a carrier bag as she shopped at a Replica Monogram vernis Handbags clothes shop, also in North Street, at around 2pm on Saturday.
The victim was approached by a woman with short dark hair who asked her about an item. She later realised the bag was missing.
She said: "Shoppers are reminded to keep their bags secure and on their person at all times."
