A man in a black tracksuit top, black trousers and black shoes entered the shop at 8.20am, walked to the counter, pulled a red-handled kitchen knife from his pocket and demanded money.
The lady behind the counter screamed, and the man ran away with
embroidered patches nothing, heading up Woodmancote Road and into Wimborne Road.
Police arrested a man later the same day, and he has been released on bail pending further investigation.
